Privacy Policy

This is a starting point, not legal advice. It describes how this website behaves today. Before relying on it, have it reviewed against the jurisdictions you operate in and the tools you actually connect — particularly if you take enquiries from the EU, UK or California.

What we collect
Information you give us
When you submit the project inquiry form we collect the details you enter: your name, email address, and optionally your phone number, company name and website, along with the service you are interested in, your indication of project scope, your preferred contact method and the project description you write.
We ask for a business email so we can reply. Everything except your name, email, project details and consent is optional, and the form works without them.
Information collected automatically
Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes technical information needed to serve and secure the site — including your IP address, browser user-agent and the country your request came from. This happens for every visitor and is necessary for the site to function and to resist abuse. When you submit the form, the country code and user-agent are recorded alongside your submission to help us identify automated spam.
Cookies and similar technologies
This site currently loads no analytics, advertising or third-party tracking scripts, and sets no cookies for those purposes. If that changes, a consent banner will appear and nothing non-essential will load until you accept.
How we use your information
- To reply to your enquiry and, if relevant, prepare a proposal.
- To contact you by your preferred method about that enquiry.
- To keep a record of the enquiry and our correspondence.
- To detect and block automated spam submissions.
- Where you have accepted cookies, to understand how the site performs and to measure advertising.
We do not sell your information. We do not add you to a marketing list from a form submission — if we ever want to send you something beyond a reply to your enquiry, we will ask first.
Legal bases
Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on: legitimate interests for replying to a business enquiry and for protecting the site from abuse; consent for analytics and advertising cookies; and contract where we go on to work together.
Third parties who process data for us
We keep this list short on purpose. Depending on configuration, the following may process your information:
- Cloudflare — hosting, content delivery and bot protection. Every request passes through it.
- Email and inquiry delivery — form submissions are delivered to us by email or to our internal workflow tooling, and may be stored briefly in Cloudflare storage so a submission is not lost if delivery fails.
- Calendly — if you book a call, your booking is handled by Calendly under its own privacy policy, and the information you give it is governed by that policy.
- Google (Analytics and Ads) and Meta (Pixel) — only where you have accepted cookies.
- Our CRM and automation tooling — used to track your enquiry through to a proposal.
Some of these providers are based in the United States, so your information may be transferred outside your country. Where required, transfers rely on the providers' standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards.
Advertising and remarketing
If advertising cookies are enabled and you accept them, Google and Meta may use them to measure the performance of our ads and to show you our ads on other sites. You can opt out of personalised Google advertising through Google Ads Settings and adjust Meta's controls in your Facebook or Instagram ad preferences. Declining our cookie banner prevents these scripts from loading in the first place.
How long we keep it
Enquiry correspondence is kept for as long as needed to answer it and, where we go on to work together, for the duration of the engagement plus the period required for tax and accounting records. Spam submissions are discarded. Backup copies of form submissions in Cloudflare storage expire automatically. If you would like your enquiry deleted sooner, email us and we will do it.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, receive a portable copy, and withdraw consent at any time. If you are in the EEA or UK you may also complain to your data protection authority. To exercise any of these, email contact@simplygood.cc and we will respond within the period the applicable law requires.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS. Form submissions are validated and rate-limited on the server, and credentials for delivery are held as encrypted environment secrets rather than in the site's code. No method of transmission is completely secure, so please do not send sensitive personal information, payment details or passwords through the form.
Children
This is a business-to-business site and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be made clear rather than quietly published.
